Terms of service

These terms govern your use of deckgigs ("the service"), a marketplace that helps clients discover and book DJs. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

deckgigs connects clients with DJs. We provide listings, messaging, pitch and booking tools, and reviews. We are not an agency: bookings are agreements between the client and the DJ. We do not take responsibility for performance, cancellations, or payment between parties unless we explicitly say otherwise.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• DJs must submit a profile for approval before appearing publicly. We may approve, suspend or remove profiles at our discretion.
• You must be 18 or older to hold an account.

Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (bio, mix links, gig posts, messages, reviews). You grant us a licence to display it on the service. You must not post unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing content, or contact details intended to take bookings off-platform during the enquiry stage.

Reviews

Reviews may only be left by clients with a completed booking. DJs may reply. We may hide reviews that are abusive or clearly fake.

Paid plans

Paid DJ subscriptions (Resident, Headliner) are billed via Stripe in the currency shown at checkout and renew until cancelled. Fees and caps are described on the pricing page.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
